Tips on moving a house

Are you going to move into your new home soon? If so, that's great. However, you do know that moving your home is quite a tough call. It requires you to do a hundred things from remembering little things like stickers to big stuff like your 42-inch TV. Tough isn't it? Stay cool, here are four helpful directions which can relief you in making the job easier for you.

Moving a house

To start, how do you make the moving experience comfortable? Labeling, lifting, rolling can make you pretty tired and sparks can fly.

Now here are some directions that can help you:

1. Prepare a list: You should be planning how to move your house one month in advance. Have a seat, take a piece of paper and write down what you need to do. Some of the tasks should be important, rank them first. Once your list is prepared, create some copies of it and hang it at a place so that you can review it.

2. Leave the clutter out: It often happens that when you are packing, you will find many lost items that have emotional tied to you but they are practically useless. My advice is not to get too emotional over such things. Be pragmatic and decide if you really need them. Another category of items to note are things that are stored for rainy days. Before you pack them up, think if you really need it. If no then give it away to someone who needs it.

3. Organize in categories: Pack your items in terms of their rooms. If the item is found in the kitchen, pack them in the kitchen box. Always clean your items before they enter the box

4. Be calm: Remember errors do happen and it's human nature. There is a chance that we forget to tape up the vase or put the knives in the bedroom category. Whatever happens, stay cool.

Very good idea. With all the material available on this subject, I am very surprised nobody thought of this wonderfully thought out idea before now.
