We have now advertised for a third time this year and within days received a query from a couple who sound lovely from Australia who sent us wonderful details about themselves and r references. We have now offered them the house sit which they have now agreed to undertake - wonderful.
I have been out of town for three weeks and just renewed my gold membership. I had two wonderful trips last year thanks to you and have been telling everyone about you. My efforts have resulted in two fabulous offers to house/pet sit that I did not solicit or even anticipate. Keep up the good work
On a trip across Canada last year we obtained a very competant couple to look after our home and pet. Not only did they treat our home and pet as their own, but they have become friends that we communicate with on a weekly basis.
Recent surgery will not allow them to partake this year. We signed on to your site and again obtained a couple we feel confident will do the job in the same manner. Thank you Housecarers!..
My wife and I recently went to Europe for two weeks, and we left our house and dogs with "kylee3". They were a terrific couple who did a terrific job. When we returned, the dogs were healthy and happy, and the house was cleaner than it was when we left. I can't recommend them strongly enough.

We have been successfully touring Oz on sits from your great site. Starting last year, 2003 in July we had 2 months in Manypeaks nr Albany WA, then 2 months in Mt Barker WA then the Alpine region of Angler's Rest nr Omeo Vic for 6 months, including 3 weeks during that time in Bathurst. Then on to Tassie for our dream destination for 6 months and have now successfully picked up another sit for a further 12 months in Tassie with the possibility of further extensions of 12 month periods. Several times on our sits one has come up and the dates have not been compatible with our availability but we have written off anyway suggesting if the owner gets stuck we are available from certain dates and that maybe they can get a relly to sit until we can get there. It has worked for us on 2 occassions, including this next one. Thanks for letting us live the life we want. We even got married here in Tas recently. Life can't get better than that
